FREMANTLE MARKETS GETS SET TO TAKE
WEST AUSTRALIAN RESIDENTS ON A MUCHNEEDED
Dust off your sombreros, amigos - the anticipation for an international holiday is finally over! as West Australian residents will have the chance to embark on a much needed cultural
escape (without the travel, of course) later this month.
Committed to boosting community morale for the entire family, Fremantle Markets - who’ve held some fantastic events since reopening their doors in July - will hold their ‘Mexicana Fiesta’ and free ‘Trick or Treating’ events across the weekend of Saturday, 31st of October and Sunday, 1st of November.
Throughout the Mexicana Fiesta, a Mariachi band will rove around the Markets on both days - along with a K2 Dance Flash Mob (that will pop-up unexpectedly); providing plenty of in-house entertainment for the adults while they get to pair it all back with the highly anticipated Mexican morsels from participating food stalls. For the kids there will be some creatively decorated and lolly-filled piñatas for them to take aim at on both days as well.
Also set to take place on Saturday, 31st of October from 10AM until 1PM, is a free trick or treat interactive activity for the kids aged 10 and under. Though, as it’s expected to be extremely popular - with only 200 tickets available, parents are required to book each kid in ahead of time before they can pick up their free Halloween bucket and map from the market office and set off to trick or treat and collect their free individually wrapped lollies from selected stalls.
