Bon Le Bijou aims to create inspired artistry in .925 Sterling Silver. Our pieces are predominantly contemporary in design. What makes our pieces unique?...... that they are our creations. Around 80% of the pieces we sell are straight out of our own studio, not mass produced, not the same as you can see anywhere, not just like everyone has. Jewellery should reflect and enhance the personality of the wearer, be that quirky or conservative. To reflect that diversity requires design and artisan skills, hard to find in your average shopping centre jewellery shop.
We also stock a selected range of items from other makers who we believe offer something unusual, and that may help you to find that special piece for you or a friend. We have been attending Trade Fairs across Australia for more than 15 years, continually on the look-out for truly creative jewellery that we can bring to you in our Fremantle Markets shop.
Our other main aim is to provide you with service, as well as goods. We are happy to take time to ensure you find what you are looking for, and if you cannot find it on our shelves, then perhaps we can create it for you. That may just be a resizing, or it may be a whole creation. Should you have an idea for a personal piece you have always wanted to create but did not know how, then come and see us and let us turn your dream into silver. Perhaps you have a stone from a piece Grandma used to wear, or an old coin you’ve always held onto….let us turn these memories into something you can wear today. Or maybe you need bridal jewellery, or something personalised like a graduation gift, 21st birthday present, or anniversary memento. At Bon Le Bijou, we have the skills to assist and offer the service to help you find just what you are after.
Visit us at Bon Le Bijou and have a chat with owner Jacquie (originally from Holland, Australian based for the last 20 years.) Every week you can find something new and something surprising. You can follow our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/bonlebijou), where you can see and purchase our pieces, or even win one of our monthly prizes. Many of the pictures you may see are of customers in our shop wearing their new Bon le Bijou purchases, perhaps the next picture could be you….
Some of the items we stock in addition to our own range of rings, pendants, earrings and more produced by Bon Le Bijou include;
*Men’s jewellery featuring stainless steel rings, pendants and cufflinks. Leather bracelets are also offered.
*Australian Art Jewellery, made by Bon Le Bijou using a special process that allows us to present images created by renowned West Australian silk artist Dianne Hoft in formats including pendants, brooches and earrings. Great as an unusual gift from Australia or memento of travels.
*Alegria jewellery, made in Sydney. A truly special range made by our good friends. The pieces feature one of three themes, Indigenous Art, Australian Street Art, and Fractals (complex geometric patterns). Pieces are beautifully boxed and include information on artists and manufacture. Earrings, pendants, cuff links, bracelets and pins are sold.
*Zebra Rock, a stone unique to the Kimberly region of West Australia, sophisticated to some, earthy to others. This stone is more than 600 million years old. We buy from the prospector, and then pass the stones to our lapidarist in Margaret River for cutting; we then set them in silver in forms often dictated by the shape and pattern of the stone, reflecting the randomness of nature.
*A large selection of leather necklets, bracelets, silver chains, stainless steel chains, neck rings, neoprene necklets and more.
*Gorgeous painted silk flowers for your hair or as a corsage brought to you by Fremantle girl, Loo Taylor.
*Gold plated jewellery (IP plating, the best process) from the famous Pastiche range.
*Jewellery storage hangers we make ourselves. A great way to display and store your jewellery.
*Budget bracelets featuring turquoise, onyx, coral and pearls, $10-$25 only.
Your purchase will be presented in boxes, bags or Bon Le bijou’s own range of signature black organza bags, and accompanied by “jewellery care cards”, that’s part of what we call service.
